Balkiz Sumerler is currently the Head of Global Events at Philips, where she has earned a reputation for her results-driven leadership and analytical mindset. Her extensive experience spans across trade show organizers, booth building, and communications & PR. Her work has taken her across Europe, North America, and the Middle East, providing her with a wealth of cultural and operational insights that she brings to every project. Her proven track record speaks volumes, having driven strategic event management initiatives,optimized cost-efficiency, and spearheaded large-scale international trade shows. Balkiz excels in fostering cross-functional collaboration and delivers with an enterprise mindset within matrix organizations.

This addition marks a significant step for The Exhibitor Advocate as Balkiz will bring an international perspective to the organization. Her presence in Europe extends the association's in-person involvement to European events. Additionally, her focus on data-driven decisionmaking will be invaluable in educating exhibitors on measurement and data analysis, further solidifying The Exhibitor Advocate's commitment to innovation and growth.
